We’re delighted to be able to finally announce the running orders and last acts for Beautiful Days for all stages. Please go to the festival website to see them all on the FESTIVAL LINE-UP page The line-up for The Bimble Inn has now been announced, they will be playing host to some fantastic up-and-coming acts, local artists and festival favourites. Their bill includes Asylums, The Eskies, Bill Baird, Xylaroo, Sadie Horler and Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs. There have been two late changes on the Main Stage and Big Top line-ups since we first announced them. Firstly, due to health reasons Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings are not able to be at Beautiful Days this year after having to cancel a number of European shows and secondly, Baaba Maal has cancelled his performance. Headlining Beautiful Days 2016 on the Friday night are Leftfield – one of Britain’s most influential electronic dance acts. Their debut Leftism, remains one of the defining statements of 90s dance music. Headlining on Saturday night we welcome back Manchester legends James who release their fourteenth new studio album ‘Girl at the End of the World’ this month. Sunday night headliners are festival founders Levellers who will close the weekend with a spectacular show including a firework finale. Joining them on the Main Stage bill are Simon Emmerson’s Afro Celt Sound System who release their first album in 10 years ‘The Source’ in April, plus Mercury Prize nominated folk-rock band The Coral, Charlie & Craig Reid aka The Proclaimers, plus Mariachi El Bronx – the mariachi side project of Los Angeles hardcore punk band The Bronx, dub/ska band Gentleman’s Dub Club and West Country rockers Reef. We also welcome very special guests, American Grammy nominated funk/soul band Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, plus the brilliant and exciting solo artist Ezra Furman, festival favourites Dreadzone, rock band Terrorvision, punk legends The Damned and The Selecter led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black. Where the team have been supporting Medicine Sans Frontiers and other volunteers to help keep thousands of refugees alive through the winter months in one of the worst camps in the region due to restrictions placed on them by the authorities, many are struggling to meet even the most basic needs. Aid Box Convoy was started by a passionate group of people from Bristol, many of whom have ties to the festival industry, ABC have been on the ground delivering and co-ordinating aid to get to the people who need it the very most in the smaller camps in Northern France since Early October. ABC’s work has been instrumental in keeping many of the now 3,000 displaced refugees alive in the camps they operate in throughout the winter. Appealing to the local councils and politicians to support the camp, as well as providing a consistent presence of volunteers at the camp who respond to the refugee’s basic needs and co-ordinate vital supplies such as arctic sleeping bags, wood, building supplies, fuel for the generator and many other sources to help provide basic levels of human...

Beautiful Days won ‘The Grass Roots Festival Award’ last night at the 2015 UK Festival Awards. Huey Morgan from BBC 6 Music / Fun Lovin’ Criminals presented the Awards to a packed audience of nominees and festival industry guests at London’s Roundhouse. Beautiful Days had also been shortlisted for Best Family Festival and Best Medium Festival. The UK Festival Awards has been celebrating the efforts of the nation’s festival industry since 2004 and Beautiful Days has been shortlisted every year for a number of awards and has previously won the Best Family Festival Award in 2011 and the Grass Roots Festival Award in 2006. The Award winners are decided through a combination of online fan votes and music industry experts. Other winners on the night included Isle of Wight Festival, Bestival and Kendal Calling.
