Headlining Saturday night in The Big Top are phenomenal Irish rock band Hothouse Flowers who combine traditional Irish music with influences from soul and rock. Their first album People in 1988 was the most successful debut album in Irish history. Also announced today to complete The Big Top line-up are former Bellowhead front-man and multiple BBC Folk Award winner Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings, revered lyricist Thea Gilmore who releases new album Small World Turning in May, plus Queen Zee – one of the most eye-catching and engaging live acts in the UK right now, folk duo The Rails and singer-songwriter Beth Rowley. The Main Stage line-up is completed by the brilliant Sam Duckworth AKA Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, John Robb’s The Membranes with accompanying choir, folk/country band Nick Parker and the False Alarms, Cornwall based sibling duo Echo Town and Bristol’s Gaz Brookfield & The Company of Thieves.
