FREE SHUTTLE BUS
A free shuttle bus runs between Feniton Station (wait for it if its not there) and the RED GATE at the festival site. It will run continuously during these times over the festival: Thursday 2pm – 8pm, Friday 9am – 2pm, Saturday 9am – 1pm, Sunday 9am – 1pm and Monday 8.30am – 12pm
If you are getting a train to Feniton station please try to coincide with these times so that you can use the free shuttle – its the safest way to get from the station to site.
BY CAR
Escot is just off the A30, between Exeter and Honiton. Exit the A30 at Daisymount (eastbound) and at Iron Bridge (westbound). Please follow signs for the BLUE ROUTE. Your routing sticker will help us to guide you on to the site and parked for the weekend. There is ample parking on site, please try and car share to avoid traffic and congestion. If you are being dropped off please follow signs for the RED ROUTE. Cars will be parked in the Yellow Car Parks and then you will walk to one of the Yellow or Blue Pedestrian Gates (whichever is closer to you, they will be clearly signed) where you will exchange your tickets for wristbands to then get you access to the festival site and the campsites. Cars are separated from Campervan traffic for entry.
In 2024 there was a CLOSURE at the A30 Off-Slip at Pattesons Cross during the peak arrival times on the Thursday. You must exit at either Daisymount or Iron Bridge. This will mean that no traffic comes off the A30 at this location allowing the queues to be properly managed into the festival site. The closure will be lifted as soon as possible once the peak of traffic has subsided.
LOVE OUR NEIGHBOURS
If you are driving to the event then please be respectful of our neighbours and residents of local villages as you approach and leave the site and DO NOT park off the festival site. Please dont park on local roads, or laybys or particularly in areas where we have Clearway (no parking) Orders. Vehicles parked illegally will be towed. We have got lots of parking space on site. We can’t avoid there being some traffic at the beginning and end of the festival but please help us to minimise the impact on local communities.
BY TRAIN
Call the 24hr National Rail Enquiries Line on 08457 48 49 50 for up to date rail information. Festival buses will run from Exeter St Davids to Escot. There are a few, but not many, trains that stop at Feniton which is the closest station to the festival site. Please wait for a lift to the festival site’s red pedestrian gate with the shuttle bus rather than walking from the station.
BY AIR
Exeter International Airport is situated off the A30, 5 miles from Exeter towards Escot Park. There are no buses from the Airport to the festival but a taxi from the airport will take about 10-15 minutes.
TAXI
There are a few local taxi companies or Apple Central Taxis in Exeter who have two offices – one in Exeter at St Davids Train Station or at Exeter Airport – who have set prices between the site, Ottery, Honiton and Exeter for Beautiful Days festival-goers. Contact 01392 66 66 66 for more information.
WEEKEND NON-CAMPERS
For those not camping at the festival, we would suggest finding somewhere very near the festival site off the A30 or a B&B, Guest House or Hotel in Exeter, Ottery or Honiton which are the nearest towns/cities. If you are staying off-site then please be aware of gate opening times for re-entry. Call Ottery St Mary TIC on 01404 813964 or Honiton TIC on 01404 43716 are the nearest tourism information centres for help on local accommodation.
