Situated in the stunning Middelalderparken park with a lake, medieval ruins and even a sandy beach is Norway's Oya Festival.
The site itself is just outside of the Norwegian capital, Olso, and it hosts three stages of worldwide artists.The festival has an indie and rock slant with acts like Franz Ferdinand and Babyshambles performing in recent years alongside some of the freshest Norwegian talent. Away from the music activities there is a festival market and political debates.
