MARYPORT BLUES FESTIVAL 2008

Celebrating its tenth birthday the annual Maryport Blues Festival is set to return to the picturesque Maryport in Cumbria. In the past the festival has pulled in best names like Van Morrison, Jools Holland and Dionne Warwick so expect artists of a similar ilk for their tenth event.

Netherhall Rugby Ground hosts all the main acts but the festival also runs its own 'trail' where around 25 artists perform around different venues around the town. The 'trail' showcases some of the smaller blues acts but also brings in international acts from the US, Australia, Italy and Germany.
