MAPS stands for music, arts, poetry and stuff and the festival, which takes in 14 venues around Manchester's Northern Quarter, showcases the creative talents of the locals for four days in May.

The event combines over 200 bands, including headline acts, with speakers, art exhibitions, fashion markets, circus acts, face painters and poets. Expect to see the likes of Hijack Oscar, Jay Jay Pistolas and Norman Jay during the festival.
