LODESTAR FESTIVAL 2008 - CANCELLED!

At the ripe age of 52, land owner Doug Durrant, finally looks like his dream of holding his own festival on his family's land will finally come true after the setback of cancelling the inaugural event in 2007.

Doug will handpick his favourite indie, rock and acoustic acts to perform on his land in the small village of Lode, Cambridgeshire. A host of up-and-coming artists will be placed alongside more established acts for the three-day event.

Doug will handpick his favourite indie, rock and acoustic acts to perform on his land in the small village of Lode, Cambridgeshire. A host of up-and-coming artists will be placed alongside more established acts for the three-day event.

As well as hosting the music the 165 acres of farmland is going to have films, theatre, dancing and surreal walkabouts. And when the main stage draws to a close at 11pm the acoustic marquee is set to strum away until the early hours of the morning.less
